MOAT has provided Jean-Luc and Thorsten with both the challenge and opportunity of working across the national lab complex on a critical part of the Genesis Mission, sharing data and building processes that are required for agentic AI to thrive. It has also allowed them to build important connections to the AmSC and ModCon pillars of Genesis Mission.
During the event, they’ll share their insights into building a multi-institution project as well as how they are integrating into the infrastructure of AmSC and ModCon – something researchers gearing up to lead new Genesis Mission projects will find valuable as they prepare to do the same. For those who did not submit a proposal to the recent Request for Applications, Jean-Luc and Thorsten will discuss how to tap into AmSC and ModCon resources, which support all AI for science at the Lab.
The AI for Science collaboration series features rotating speakers from different Research Areas around the lab, presenting on an area of AI integration in a way that is applicable to all domains. Speakers spend 10-15 minutes sharing their AI journey, focusing on the challenges, processes, and solutions that got them where they are today. The remainder of the hour will be reserved for questions and conversation, and updates on the Genesis Mission. We encourage you to stay behind and chat with other colleagues about their AI journeys – refreshments provided!
