The Lab hosted several conferences in the past few weeks, and as the last banner is being packed away, it’s time to start thinking about 2024 conferences.

Conference Services can help.

“Large spaces at the Lab and in the community are being booked now for 2024,” said Conference Services manager Elijah Walker III. “We want Lab conferences to go smoothly, so we want to start the planning process now so conference sponsors can offer the best possible experience to attendees.”

Clients agree that working with Conference Services makes the process easier.  “The 2023 JGI User Meeting has many moving parts,” said Denise Yadon, who was responsible for the JGI conference.  “With the support of Conference Services and the expert planning skills of Jill Stark, our event was a huge success again this year.  Jill has been our event planner for our annual meeting for years, and I appreciate her expert knowledge and attention to detail during every planning stage.  We are a great team, and I couldn’t do it without her.”

Lab’s Head of Protocol Evren Essner agrees. The Conference Services team is integral to the success of the events that the Directorate and the Protocol Office plan and host. They are in tune with our needs, accommodate our often tight deadlines, and make excellent and timely recommendations to elevate the attendee experience. They are experts at negotiating contracts and maximizing our constrained budgets. Their attention to detail, flexibility, and dedication to ensuring that our events reflect the Lab’s values and mission have been invaluable to us.”
