Applications for two-year fellowships beginning in June 2024 at Cyclotron Road – Department of Energy (DOE) Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (LEEP) – are open until Oct. 17.
The Cyclotron Road program empowers entrepreneurial scientists to take their innovation to impact. A close partnership with the Lab and nonprofit partner Activate, the program offers participants the knowledge, resources, and connections they need to translate research into sustainable businesses.

With the addition of the 2023 cohort that began in June of this year, 95 fellows have taken part in the program, leading 74 startups and employing nearly one thousand people to-date.
The DOE’s Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) and the Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) are the founding and anchor sponsors of the Cyclotron Road program.
