Four Lab science units recently launched new websites using the Berkeley Lab Design System, including the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area and some of its divisions and the Chemical Sciences Division in the Energy Sciences Area. The new system, which launched last fall, introduces a more modern design and navigation and offers significant upgrades in search engine optimization, security, responsiveness, and accessibility.
The Earth and Environmental Sciences Area launched a new web presence for its area and division websites on Dec. 11, enhancing the experience visitors have online when exploring their research, people, and capabilities. You can visit the new websites at EESA.lbl.gov, climatesciences.lbl.gov, and energygeosciences.lbl.gov
Last week, the Chemical Sciences Division in the Energy Sciences Area launched its new website, which offers novel pathways for web visitors to explore its scientific programs, research projects, facilities, and more. Visit the division’s website at chemicalsciences.lbl.gov.
Several other scientific and operational units at the Lab plan to bring their websites onto the new system, which launched last fall with lbl.gov, news center, and Elements. Please contact Laurel Kellner at lkellner@lbl.gov for more information.
