The Guest House parking lot (Lot Z) will remain fully closed through Friday, October 31 and partially reopen from November through January due to ongoing construction of the Collaboration Commons, a long-planned Lab modernization project. The extended closure will remove traffic and the Lab community from harm’s way to ensure a safe working environment for all. See the full schedule below.
Lot Z Access Schedule:
- Through Friday, October 31: Lot Z will be fully closed.
- November 1 – January 2: The front section of Lot Z will open up to the Lab community. However, the back section (behind the line of the stairs) will be closed for laydown and assembly activities.
- Early 2026: The lot is expected to fully reopen to the Lab community.
