since you’ve asked branding be correct – the new logo is incorrect. It shows two windows in campanile – there are THREE.

Also new logo as wrong aspect ratio as well as wasted space.

Thank you for your feedback, Aashish, I brought your concerns to Creative Services, which confirmed there are two windows in the campanile and and the aspect ratio is correct. Please reference the following URL for current branding: https://creative.lbl.gov/visual-identity/#berkeleylablogo
      Regards, -Jeremy

Looking at pictures of the campanile, either I cannot count or there are indeed three windows as Aashish claims. To me there are clearly three windows in it.

      • Cait Youngquist says:

Aashish is correct in that the actual Campanile has three openings at the top. However, for reproducibility and legal reasons, the Berkeley Lab logo is purposefully designed to be representative rather than accurate to life. Any questions can be directed to Creative Services.

There are two important locations were the logo is wrong:
    – The entrance of the lab (the logo on the booth at blackberry gate)
    – Every employee badge has the logo from at least then years ago (with the rolling hill)
(I sent related pictures through the form; there are also some road signage with the three bars in the campanile)
