It’s difficult to break through the clutter of messages when it comes to safety. So we’re trying something different. May is National Bike Month, and it is a good time to remind cyclists to ride safely. That means wearing a helmet, staying alert, and following the speed limit of 15 m.p.h while on Lab property.
We need help from your budding artist to amplify the message. Selected artwork will be displayed on the Lab’s digital signs during May.
Here’s what we need:
- Colorful digital artwork at least 1152 pixels long by 864 pixels high or 11 by 9 inches – it’s OK to submit a high-quality photograph of the picture
- The artist’s first name and age if under 18 if you want to share it, and their relationship to you
- Stick with the theme of bike safety
As a thank you, there will be a random drawing from all submissions for up to three $10 Starbucks gift cards sent to the adult who submitted the artwork.
Send the artwork, along with the first name and age of the artist if under 18, and their relationship to you to communications@lbl.gov by May 3.
