Join the Lab’s August Harless, Hazards Analyst, and Sarah Lana, Emergency Services Manager from the City of Berkeley, today at noon as they discuss the recent fire evacuation study prepared by the City of Berkeley for those who work and live in Berkeley. Learn how the city and its consultants evaluated different areas of the city, and discover the evacuation timelines for Berkeley Lab in the event of an approaching fire.
The session will be hybrid, held on Zoom and in Building 90, room 1144.
At the end of the session, those attending either virtually or in person will be entered to win a special prize in the Safety Sweepstakes. You must be present to win online or in person.
This is the first of a four-part series of Lunch and Learns offered by the Lab’s Security and Emergency Services division every Thursday at noon during September, National Preparedness Month. The SES website has all the topics and additional information.
You can read the study and then bring your questions to this lunch and learn.
