In accordance with California state legislature bill AB 2156, UC and Berkeley Lab will rename the March 31 state holiday, previously known as César Chávez Day, to Farmworkers Day. The holiday will still be available as an optional floating holiday for Lab employees. The updated name will be reflected in all UC and Lab documentation.
