Nominations for the Berkeley Lab Director’s Awards are now open. The Director’s Award is an important annual touchstone at the Lab and gives us a chance to celebrate the outstanding contributions of many of our employees.
There will be a short 30-minute virtual session on how to write a nomination on Monday, April 6, at noon. The session will be taped for replay.
There is a new category this year, mid-career leadership, that recognizes the important role the Lab’s mid-career employees play in how the Lab does team science. The award honors individuals in science and operations whose evolving contributions have opened up significant new directions that others now build upon.
Other categories for nominations cover the breadth and depth of the contributions to the Lab’s culture of stewardship.
