This year’s Director’s Achievement Awards was a hybrid affair held in the Lab’s  Building 50 auditorium and online through Zoom. The November 10 ceremony saw presenters and winners appearing from as far away as South Korea. Nineteen individuals and teams were honored for accomplishments, leadership, collaboration, multi-disciplinary science, cross-divisional projects, and commitment to excellence in support of the Lab’s mission and strategic goals.

After the ceremony the award winners, coworkers, family and friends mingled at a reception in the Building 54 cafeteria. This was the final major event held at the cafeteria building, which closed on November 18 to make way for the Seismic Safety and Modernization project.
