It’s taken her almost 20 years, but Kiki Williams is back in Berkeley. She joined the Lab late last year as the first Director of the newly created Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination. The office handles inquiries about anti-discrimination, sexual violence, sexual harassment, abusive conduct, and whistleblower issues, among other topics.

Kiki came to UC Berkeley as an undergrad, earning an undergraduate degree in sociology and a master’s degree in education.  That gave her five years of basketball while at Cal, playing as a small forward/shooting guard.

Can she take on Steph Curry in a shooting contest?  Listen to this interview to learn more about her playing days, the new office, and why she is thrilled to be back in Berkeley.
