The Zoom parking spots near Building 50 are often empty. Perhaps this is because the reservation process is less than smooth (e.g., the QR codes do not scan). How about turning those two spots into traditional two-hour parking spots, with no reservation needed?

Hi Paolo, thank you for your feedback. We’ve confirmed the QR codes are functional and should direct users to the Zoom workspace reservation system, though connectivity issues can sometimes affect scanning. If this happens, you can make reservations directly through the Zoom app instead.

These spaces are similar to two-hour parking but offer guaranteed availability when reserved. You can make on-the-spot reservations if you see an open space through the QR code or Zoom app. Reservations expire 20 minutes after the scheduled start time if unused, making the space available for others. This system helps ensure we use our parking spaces more efficiently while providing flexibility for short-term needs.

There was a space designator board set out near building 46, but the QR code was not useable; following the link after scanning it with my camera led me to a browser window that didn’t do anything. I’ve gone directly to the zoom app, and this location was not amongst the options. Is this a valid 2-hour space?

Hi Dominic, thank you for notifying us. The QR code on the sign in Lot L required replacement. A new sign will be in place for use before business hours tomorrow. Please let us know of your experience.

Suggestion – create a calendar for spots like conference rooms and then every morning Security posts the reservations.
