Update:

EED Division Safety Coordinator Ayla Quesada read the original posting of this article and recognized her prized coffee tumbler in the accompanying photo. Explains Quesada, “I value environmental stewardship and never go anywhere without a reusable beverage container. I’m also very forgetful and tend to lose them a lot. So, I was so happy to see my lost blue tumbler pictured in the Elements article.” In addition to retrieving her personal property, Quesada is also appreciative for all that the SOC does for the Lab community, adding “Our security officers do so much to keep our site running smoothly, and I’m grateful that not only did a colleague turn in my lost item, but Security also kept it safe for me — even going the extra mile and washing it!”

Water bottles, glasses, earbuds, bike helmets on tableAnd what of the namesake Rhino that inspired the original lost-and-found story? Alas, it still languishes in captivity with no one coming forward to claim it. If you know anyone who’s gone rhino-less lately, please let them know it’s at the SOC and help save one more rhino from extinction.
