Beginning Monday, Oct. 2, you can only drive onto the Lab’s hillsite if you display a new parking permit. Vehicles not displaying a new permit as they enter through a Lab gate will be pulled to the side of the road near the gate to make an appointment to exchange their parking permit. The staff member will need to show they have made an appointment to exchange their parking permit before being let onto the site.
Starting Tuesday, Oct. 3, vehicles entering the Lab displaying an old permit can only enter at Blackberry Gate where they will be directed to a drive through permit exchange in the Building 88 parking lot. If you have been notified you need a badge, you will be directed to Building 65 to obtain a new badge and permit.
Appointments are still available to exchange your parking permit before Oct. 2. Use the QR code to make an appointment or use this calendar link.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Is it possible if the (New Parking Permit) can be mailed to our house? Please let me know.
Site Access is happy to work with anyone who cannot come in during normal hours to exchange their parking permit. Reach out to Siteaccess@lbl.gov to receive support.
