The search for Dark Matter is as much the process as finding results. Chiara Salemi, faculty scientist and Cal physics professor, and Nick Rodd, Physics divisional fellow in the theory group recently discussed dark matter from “A” – axions, to “W” – WIMPs, and how kindergarten art plays a part in today’s research.
“I would say it’s more you shouldn’t be afraid of the unknown. There’s a lot of exciting things you can learn from it.”
