Welcome to the second installment of Mission Possible: True Tales of Team Science! In this 13-minute interview, the Lab’s Executive Comms team interviews a trio from the ALS, who worked together to build and test an automated system for studying thin film materials using a method called GIWAXS (Grazing-Incidence Wide-Angle X-ray Scattering). This ‘grazing’ method uses powerful X-rays to examine the structure of materials at the atomic level. Sadly, no goats were interviewed.
