While vaccinating against different diseases can happen at any time of the year, we usually stress vaccinations against respiratory illnesses in the fall.  It’s the time of year when many activities move indoors and people gather together for the fall and winter holidays.

Though most of us can recover from a respiratory illness, flu and Covid can spread quickly, and even if you’re generally healthy, they can knock you off your feet. The best way to prevent severe illness, hospitalization, and death is through vaccination.

In this short video, Lab Medical Director Dr. Joseph Toscano discusses why vaccinations are critical for all of us.
